Tonight was one last hurrah with what’s left of the work crew.  

It was pretty bittersweet to be missing a few and for the pregos to be drinking water and the new moms to be leaving early due to diminished tolerance.  But it was fun to reminisce with those who are left and be grateful that I had such fun people to work with and thankful they became actual friends.

We still work together and I’ll get to take them on the town when they’re in the NY office, but it’s just one more thing that will never be the same.

Damn if we didn’t have a raucous good time those first few years when everyone was young and sans real responsibilities.
